Which mesh should I choose for my MagnaTrack screens?
Insect, solar, or vinyl — a quick map of the MagnaTrack fabric range and what each is for.
Which mesh should I choose for my MagnaTrack screens?
Match the fabric to your patio's main enemy. For bugs: standard 16/14 insect mesh handles mosquitoes and flies, while the tighter 17/20 weave stops no-see-ums. For heat and glare: solar meshes run from Textilene Solar 80 and 90 up through Solar 95, 95 Nano, and 97 Nano, blocking 70 to 97 percent of UV and cutting shaded-surface temperatures dramatically — the tighter fabrics also double as insect barriers. For full weather blocking: clear vinyl panels stop wind and rain entirely, turning a porch into a three-season room.
Different openings on the same patio can carry different fabrics, and we bring physical samples to every consultation so you can judge view and color against your own space before deciding.
