How it works
Vinyl panels turn a screened space into a weather-tight one. Clear or tinted PVC rides in the same V-channel as mesh, blocking 100% of wind and rain while keeping the view.
Tiers matter here: standard clear vinyl suits residential porches, while heavy-duty reinforced and restaurant-grade panels carry a double-welded border for daily commercial cycling. A black heat-welded reinforcement border resists the tearing that kills cheaper panels.
Paired with a heater, a vinyl-enclosed porch is comfortable well into December — the single biggest extension of outdoor season we install.

Why it's worth it
What this system gives you
A vinyl panel makes the space usable in weather that ends a mesh-screened evening.
Keep the view or cut glare, depending on the exposure.
Double-welded border built for daily commercial cycling.
Reinforced edge resists the tearing that ends cheap panels.
With a heater, an enclosed porch works into December.
Mix vinyl and mesh screens on one opening or one property.
Ownership
Care & maintenance
Clean vinyl with mild soap and water only — never an ammonia-based glass cleaner, which clouds PVC permanently.
Retract vinyl panels in freezing weather when they are wet if you can. Vinyl stiffens in cold, and rolling a frozen panel is how creases start.
Store the season's habits with the screen: a spring wash and an annual motor check keeps a vinyl enclosure working like new for years.
Local fit
Built for Virginia, Maryland & DC
A Mid-Atlantic shoulder season is exactly what vinyl is for. March and November evenings are perfectly pleasant behind a wind block and a heater, and completely unusable without one.
Restaurants across Fairfax, Arlington, and DC use vinyl enclosures to keep patio seating open through the months that decide whether outdoor seating pays for itself.

Keder-bead retention that locks tighter as the wind blows
A thermoplastic keder bead welded to the fabric edge rides in extruded aluminum V-channels — continuous mechanical retention along the full track, no zippers and no cables. RAD roller reinforcement enables single spans up to ~99 feet with no center posts.
