Just had a magnatrack screen installed and I’m very happy with the results. Everyone from start to finish was very professional and friendly. The crew that installed the screen, Ken, William, Stuart, and Julio were super nice. They finished the installation rather quickly and braved the chilling temperature. Very appreciative. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the amount of time it took and the lack of communication. Initially I asked about the time frame since most other things I had ordered took a while, I was told they were different, was told installation would happen in early Jan., about 4-5 wks and is now mid Feb. Looking at other reviews it looks like I’m not the only one with this issue. I also was the one that reached out to them as opposed to getting a courtesy call with an update about delays. In my opinion, delays are understandable, just let your customers know. Bottom line, would I use them again? Yes, I would.

These motorized screens are amazing but what's even better than the screens is the team that I've had the opportunity to work with. Our recent project had a tight project timeline. Knowing that the lead time generally takes 5-6 weeks plus installation time, Jessica, Nicolas, & team did an INCREDIBLE job getting things expedited, shipped, and installed in TWO WEEKS!

In the midst of the Winter Storm we got our optional Sunroom courtesy American Light Design. We had a covered patio and were considering wether to convert part of it to sunroom, when I saw the Ad from American Light Design, the idea of converting the patio to a sunroom when we wanted and get the open patio when we wanted was very appealing. Do when Jessica came over and showed us the solution we liked it very much, most of all the the flexibility. So we signed the contract, after that that the whole process was very smooth and clear. Jessica ensured everything went as per the plan. Within less than a week of signing the contract, Nicolas visited our home, took all measurements, while doing that he suggested that we convert one proposed fixed scrern to a motorized one with rationale and we did it. In less than 8 weeks Nicolas, Yuan, Rene and one more of their team members came and completed the installation. In spite of a Winter Storm in progress they came early and worked nonstop to finish the installation. Great job ! Wonderful people ! Kept their time and schedule as planned.

We couldn’t be happier with our motorized screens from American Light Design! After three full seasons of use, we’ve truly seen their incredible benefits. They’ve made our porch into a functional and comfortable year-round space. The screens keep the area cooler during the warmer months and warmer when it’s cold, making it feel like we’ve added an entirely new room to our house. As outdoor enthusiasts, we love being outside, but bugs used to be a problem—no more! These screens have solved that issue entirely while offering privacy and being wind-resistant (a huge plus in our windy location). It’s such a treat to leave the door open, knowing we don’t have to worry about bugs or our dog darting outside. The customer service is phenomenal. Nicola and Leviticus respond to any questions immediately, and their professionalism and organization during the install were unmatched. I highly recommend American Light Design to anyone looking to transform their outdoor space.

Despite the complexity and uniqueness of my project, which many a similar contractor had turned down or insisted would be cost-prohibitive, American Light Design tackled my rooftop pergola head-on in both a professional and timely manner. When I first broached the concept of a rooftop pergola atop my Washington, DC condo to make my property stand out, Hailey and Lee at ALD responded with a smile and can-do attitude, respectively. Both were transparent and communicative throughout the weekslong process, from design to execution, and were able to adapt on the fly to engineering modifications necessitated by the rooftop installation. I was especially impressed by the alacrity with which Lee and his team were able to commandeer a four-story articulating crane and steer it down my narrow DC street for the installation and even moreso by the final prodcut. If you are in the DMV and looking for the premier contractor to spruce up your outdoors (and only one licensed for Azenco, which several contractors insisted was the only pergola they would feel comfortable putting atop my roof), American Light Design is the only option in my opinion. And no, I was not paid for this review! ;)

This company delivers super and quality patio screens for my home and the best customer services and trustworthy confidence that you want to have. You got it , they are the one and seek no further. Excellent process starts from estimates, contractor, providing documentation for you to file HOA if needed, in process of screening made, and schedule for final installation and post completion and cleanup job site. Joshua and Nick came on site to throughly evaluate works and gave me the affordable price to contract and enjoy my patio living space with privacy, cleaner and manageable and comfortable and enjoyable space. After screens are manufactured in 6-8 weeks also, Steuart and Juan came and installed in very rigid cold weather below 30 degree most of time. They were so hard working and skip lunch to get jobs done perfectly and magnificently. Nick also came to wrap and show me how to operate screens locally with remote and remotely (yes, from your phone too) and make sure products delivered and installed properly and amazingly You can see outside nicely but outside won’t be easily to see inside during the day. Yeah, so nice to reward your life. Joshua, Nick, Stuart, and Juan are great team and deliver the best screens services ever. Your home with this addition put you in paradise all year round Highly recommend it and you shall will enjoy your patio in no heart beat.
