Can MagnaTrack screens handle an uneven patio floor?
Yes — up to four inches of variance. How the self-correcting system keeps a clean seal on settled and sloped patios.
Can MagnaTrack screens handle an uneven patio floor?
Yes — this is one of MagnaTrack's defining strengths. The system tolerates floors that are out of level by as much as four inches, which covers the vast majority of settled slabs, pitched-for-drainage patios, and older porches we measure across Northern Virginia. Because the fabric edge is held magnetically rather than by a rigid mechanical interlock, the screen conforms and still seals cleanly along the bottom bar instead of leaving a wedge-shaped gap for insects.
During your consultation we measure the actual variance at your opening and confirm the approach. If your floor is why you assumed motorized screens were off the table, it almost certainly is not.
