What happens if something bumps a MagnaTrack screen out of its track?
Nothing you need to fix — the patented magnets guide the screen back into place on its own.
What happens if something bumps a MagnaTrack screen out of its track?
It puts itself back. The patented self-correcting design holds the fabric edge in the track magnetically, so a wind gust, a leaning kid, or a dog nose can deflect the screen without tearing anything — and as the screen cycles, the magnets guide the edge back into its seated position automatically. This is the failure mode that sends zipper-edge screens in for repair, and MagnaTrack simply does not have it; it is the core reason the manufacturer reports 98 percent fewer service calls than conventional systems.
If a screen ever does not reseat after a full down-and-up cycle, that is unusual — call us and our local service team will take a look.
