Best decision Ive made for my covered patio! It made an immense difference shading the patio from extreme sun, winds, protecting patio furniture, and keeping unwanted bugs, critters away... my Pup enjoys the space so much! More now and so do I even now in the Fall and colder months. It does NOT give you 100% privacy at night when the light is on inside the house but during the day this lighter color does help with privacy a bit more and that's why I chose it. The crew was amazing, very helpful and went out of their way to ensure I was satisfied with every minute detail of the project!

By the way, if you have a light shining on the screens from the outside at night, they will give you more privacy
It can be similar to a window , if the light is brighter on the inside than it is on the outside you lose privacy
